TROFAST

Meet Trufast, which in Norwegian means "Faithful" – a direct and kind dog.

 

His owner is a sailor, and during his voyages, Trufast lived with me. The young male dog didn't always know how to control his emotions, he had behavioral issues and outbursts. We did a lot of training with him and played games like frisbee or tug-of-war to help him expend his energy properly. Often, he would experience overexcitement and didn't know how to handle it, so he would mimic sexual behavior. During those moments, I didn't scold him, instead, I simply redirected his attention to playing with a rope, and over time, he lost interest in his previous emotional expressions
