I’m originally from Crimea, where horses were just a normal part of everyday life
There were a lot of stables around, and several of my friends owned horses. Every summer their horses went up to free pasture in the Crimean mountains, and we spent a lot of time looking after the herd.
When I was a kid, my favorite movie was Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and I knew every Bryan Adams song by heart — I was honestly obsessed with that whole world.
