LIBRARIES

In the digital age, when more and more people are turning to e-books and online sources of information, I believe it is especially important to support libraries.

For many people, the tactile experience still matters: holding a book in their hands, feeling the texture of the paper, and turning its pages. For some, the library is a place of solitude and quiet—a chance to slow down for a moment in a world filled with constant information and distractions.

Libraries provide people with space, access to resources, and opportunities to learn, work, connect with others, participate in events, and feel part of a community. In many small towns, libraries have become much more than places for reading. They host meetings, lectures, children's programs, clubs, and local exhibitions. Often, they are one of the last remaining non-commercial community spaces.

Through photography, I strive to portray libraries as vibrant and relevant places, highlight their role within the community, and help draw attention to the important work they do.
