COMPIS

This is Compis (Norwegian for "buddy") – a mix of Border Collie, Alaskan Husky, and Pointer.

He had several behavioral issues: leash tension and poor emotional control during walks, as well as a poor appetite

On the first day, he pulled the leash until my hands were sore, and I even cried out of helplessness in physically restraining him. But a couple of days of training worked wonders. We practiced being calm at the front door before walks. After that, we walked on a loose leash, and the dog listened to my voice, returned, and waited for me with the slightest tension

The appetite issue was psychological. For some reason, he didn't consider the kitchen a safe place to eat and wouldn't eat due to stress. And most often, the bowl is placed in the kitchen. I moved his bowl to a comfortable spot for him, stepped back, and praised him from a distance. After that, the problem disappeared

His owners were very pleased to see his progress in the videos I sent them. They were also delighted to take home a happy dog and colorful photos

«Kompis, who is 4 years old, was with her for a week. She taught him things we wanted to train on, like walking better on a leash. Kompis had a fantastic week at her place. We received daily pictures and videos of what they had been doing. I'm sure Kompis already misses her»
